A coalition of voluntary, public and private sector organisations today (3rd September) welcomed Liverpool City Council’s plans to establish a “North Liverpool Action Team” covering Anfield, County and Kirkdale.
The people of the North West deserve the same opportunities as those in other parts of the country and continued investment to tackle poverty and deprivation in the region is vital to capturing the opportunities presented by the Government’s Big Society agenda. That is the message of the North West’s submission on housing to the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review.
