Welcome to The Dane Housing Group Ltd

The Dane Housing Group was formed from Dane Housing Congleton Ltd in January 2007. The Group remains at the forefront of affordable housing developments in Cheshire and surrounding areas, manages 4000 homes and employs in the region of 200 staff.

In 1998 Dane Housing Congleton Ltd was Cheshire’s first large-scale voluntary transfer organisation (LSVT) when it took over the ownership and management of Congleton Borough Council’s entire housing stock following a positive ballot by residents.

The Dane Housing Group’s transfer roots, provide a solid financial and service delivery track record which enables the continued development of innovative neighbourhood based initiatives and support for local communities, extensive housing maintenance and improvement programmes as well as developing a sizable number of much needed affordable new homes right across the region.

The Group subsidiaries include Dane Partnership Homes, with its focus on building new homes and modernisation and Dane Community Partnerships, which through its charitable status, seeks to give residents greater control and increased responsibility in their local communities.
