Residents Groups
Residents' Groups are a great way of getting together with your neighbours and exploring how you can improve your neighbourhood.
A group may come together for a whole range of reasons, for example to tackle environmental problems, arrange social events, campaign for a particular cause, or to strengthen community spirit.
Our Residents’ Groups
- have a formal structure
- have a constitution which sets out how the group operates
- elect a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer
- hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- have a bank account
We currently have four active residents' groups in the Borough. To find out if there is already a residents' group in your area click here

In addition, Dane has an active Tenants' Federation which meets monthly. They work in partnership with staff on behalf of other residents. For more information about the Federation, please contact Dorothy Barnett, on 01260 273 447.
