Dane Tenants Federation

The Dane Housing Tenants' Federation was formed in April 2001. The Federation currently has 16 members who are involved in residents' groups in their own neighbourhoods or are Tenant Link Co-ordinators.

Aims of the Federation

To represent tenants
To provide a forum for discussion of tenants' representatives views and opinions
To improve communications between Dane Housing, tenants and other agencies
To build and improve partnerships with other agencies
To develop and promote tenant and resident participation with Dane Housing
To consult and negotiate with both Dane Housing and other service providers to ensure that they are providing the best service available and to achieve improvements
To ensure that participation is accessible to all groups as part of equal opportunities
To promote the work of the Federation
To encourage the development of local amenities and facilities
