Anti Social Behaviour and Neighbour Nuisance

We believe that the majority of people just want to live peacefully in their homes. Therefore we want to stop the misery, that unacceptable behaviour by a few, can cause to many, if allowed to go unchecked. We take seriously any incidents of anti-social behaviour, by people or groups who cause a nuisance or annoyance in our neighbourhoods and wider community. As every incident is different, we first assess the problem and then agree an appropriate action plan to deal with it, which we have found is the most successful approach.

Remember; tolerance and common sense – talking with your neighbour and discussing the problem face to face is often the most successful way of resolving disputes and misunderstandings.

If you are experiencing nuisance or anti-social behaviour, contact your Neighbourhood Housing Officer immediately. If the incidents are serious contact your local police station immediately.
